Detroit Electronic Music Festival
2002 - Link
Held during Memorial Day Weekend 2002, the 2002 DEMF, although
plagued by problems with management and a boycott by many
fans and artists in the techno community still managed to
draw around 1.5 million people to the three day festival.
Artists from all over the world performed various types of
techno music and acts on four stages around Hart Plaza in
the center of Detroit, from morning until around midnight.
This was the third consecutive year of the free festival.
